Phrases are expressions of a civilization I will here give pleasant examples of how phrases from one language are translated into another language : I'll add pictures which will make that exercise really funny ! To give an example, " don't count your chickens before they're hatched " is equivalent in French to " il ne faut pas vendre la peau de l'ours avant de l'avoir tué " . I'll try to show in my site a humourous image illustrating this , in the Tex Avery way !
